il giorno seguente la chiusura dello spettacolo a distanza di una sola
settimana dal debutto. Nonostante il primo musical di Angela, scritto da
Arthur Laurents e Stephen Sondheim, fu un insuccesso di pubblico, il
produttore Goddard Lieberson decise comunque di registrare i brani per
l'edizione in vinile, anche per dar fiducia al giovane autore Sondheim,
che diventerà uno dei più grandi compositori americani. Durante le
registrazioni dell'album un ladro entrò nella camera d'albergo della
Lansbury rubandole tutti i gioielli. Prodotto da Goddard Lieberson;
produttore associato: Teo Macero. Edizione in CD contenente un libretto
di 15 pagine con foto e presentazione dello spettacolo. Prodotto da
